Ingredients
- 32 tater tots
- 1 pound ground beef
- 6 slices of bacon, chopped
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup diced onions
- 1/2 cup diced tomatoes
- Pickles, for garnish
- Ketchup and mustard, for drizzling
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Equipment Needed
- Baking sheet
- Large skillet
- Mixing bowl
- Cone molds or foil to form cones
- Cooking spray
- Spoon for mixing
Step-by-Step Instructions
To start, preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). While the oven warms up, I like to get my tater tots ready. Take a baking sheet and spread out 32 tater tots in a single layer. Bake them in the preheated oven for about 20-25 minutes until they’re crispy and golden brown. The aroma that fills my kitchen during this time is just heavenly! Once they’re done, remove them and let them cool for a few minutes before placing them into your cone molds or shaping them into cones with foil. This step can get a little messy, but I promise it’s worth it. (See the next page below to continue steps…)
