– 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
– A pinch of salt
Equipment Needed

– Mixing bowls
– Whisk
– Rubber spatula
– Saucepan
– Double boiler or microwave-safe bowl
– Baking sheet (optional)
Step-by-Step Instructions
To start, preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). In my kitchen, this always signals that something delicious is on the way! In a mixing bowl, I combine the graham cracker crumbs and melted butter until they resemble wet sand. Press this mixture firmly into the bottom and up the sides of your tart pan. Bake for about 10 minutes until golden brown, and oh, that smell! It’s pleasantly toasty and gets me excited for what’s to come. Once done, I set it aside to cool and get started on the filling.
