Step-by-Step Instructions
To start, I prep my pie crust. If you’re using a store-bought one, just follow the package instructions for pre-baking. If you’re making your own, be sure to let it cool completely before adding the filling. While that’s cooling, I get started on the banana filling! In a medium saucepan, I combine the sugar, cornstarch, and salt, whisking them together until they’re well mixed. Then, I slowly whisk in the milk and heat it over medium heat, stirring constantly until it begins to thicken.
