Ingredients
– 12 oz large pasta shells
– 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
– 1 cup cream cheese, softened
– 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
– 1 cup mozzarella cheese
– 2 cups spinach (fresh or frozen)
– 2 cups marinara sauce
– 1 teaspoon garlic powder
– Salt and pepper to taste
– Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
Equipment Needed
– Large pot for boiling pasta
– Baking dish (9×13 inch works best)
– Mixing bowl
– Measuring cups and spoons
– Spoon or spatula for mixing
– Aluminum foil
Step-by-Step Instructions
Start by preheating your oven to 350°F (175°C). In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil and cook the pasta shells according to the package instructions until they’re al dente. You want them firm enough to hold the cheesy filling but soft enough to enjoy. Once cooked, drain them and set aside. In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, shredded chicken, garlic powder, and half of the mozzarella and cheddar cheeses. Stir in the spinach, and season with salt and pepper before mixing thoroughly. (See the next page below to continue steps…)
