Ingredients
- 12 oz penne pasta
- 1 lb ground beef
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 2 cups shredded cheese (mozzarella and cheddar work great)
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Fresh parsley, for garnish (optional)
Equipment Needed
- Large pot for boiling pasta
- Skillet for cooking the beef
- Strainer for pasta
- Mixing spoon
- Measuring cups and spoons
- Baking dish (optional, for extra cheesy topping!)
Step-by-Step Instructions
To start, I fill a large pot with water and add a generous pinch of salt. Once it’s boiling, I toss in the penne pasta and cook it until it’s al dente, about 8-10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Meanwhile, in a large skillet, I melt the butter over medium heat and add the minced garlic. The aroma fills my kitchen—seriously, it’s heavenly! When the garlic is fragrant, I add the ground beef and let it brown, seasoning it with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. (See the next page below to continue steps…)
