Ingredients
- 1 package of refrigerated pizza dough (about 13.8 ounces)
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- ½ cup sliced pepperoni
- ¼ cup pizza sauce (for dipping)
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning (optional)
- Cooking spray or olive oil (for greasing)
Equipment Needed
- Baking sheet
- Parchment paper (optional)
- Rolling pin
- Pizza cutter or sharp knife
- Small bowl for pizza sauce
Step-by-Step Instructions
First, preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). While that’s happening, roll out the pizza dough on a lightly floured surface. I love using my trusty rolling pin to get a nice thin layer; this makes it easier to roll up and ensures a crispy outside. Once the dough is rolled out to a rectangle, it’s time to add the good stuff! Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella evenly over the surface, and then layer on your pepperoni slices. I sometimes add a pinch of Italian seasoning for an extra punch of flavor! (See the next page below to continue steps…)
