Ingredients
– 2 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts
– 1 packet ranch seasoning mix
– 8 oz cream cheese, softened
– 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
– 1 cup cooked bacon, crumbled
– 1/2 cup green onions, chopped
– Slider buns, for serving
– Optional: pickles and lettuce for topping
Equipment Needed
– Slow cooker or Instant Pot
– Mixing bowl
– Spoon or spatula
– Knife and cutting board
– Baking sheet (if toasting buns)
Step-by-Step Instructions
To begin, I usually gather all my ingredients and equipment so I can have everything within reach. If you’re using a slow cooker, place the chicken breasts in the bottom and sprinkle the ranch seasoning over the top. Add the softened cream cheese right on top of that. If you’re feeling adventurous, you can even throw in a splash of chicken broth to keep things extra moist! Cook on low for about 6 hours, or high for 3 hours, until the chicken is fully cooked and shreds easily. (See the next page below to continue steps…)
