Ingredients
- 8 ounces linguine
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 pound chicken breast, sliced into strips
- 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Equipment Needed
- Large pot for boiling pasta
- Skillet
- Wooden spoon or spatula
- Measuring cups and spoons
- Knife and cutting board
Step-by-Step Instructions
To begin, I start by cooking the linguine according to the package instructions. I usually bring a big pot of salted water to a boil and throw the pasta in. As it cooks, I like to prepare the chicken. In a skillet, I heat the olive oil over medium heat, then add the sliced chicken. I sprinkle the Cajun seasoning over the top and sauté until the chicken is golden and cooked through. It’s so fragrant at this point! The spices fill the kitchen and make my mouth water.
