Step-by-Step Instructions
First things first, let’s get that beef cooking! In a large skillet over medium heat, I brown the ground beef with the chopped onion and minced garlic. The wonderful aroma fills my kitchen, and it always makes me feel right at home. Once the beef is no longer pink, I drain any excess grease and add in the chili powder, cumin, salt, pepper, and chopped cilantro. I mix everything well and let it simmer for a couple of minutes to meld the flavors together.
