Step-by-Step Instructions
To start my Million Dollar Italian Lasagna, I boil a large pot of salted water and cook the lasagna noodles according to package instructions, usually about 8-10 minutes until al dente. Once they’re done, I drain them and lay them flat on a clean kitchen towel to prevent sticking. While the noodles are cooking, I heat a large skillet over medium heat, adding the ground beef and sausage, seasoning with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. I love the aroma of the meat sizzling away in the pan—it just smells like home! After the meat is fully cooked, I mix in the marinara sauce and let it simmer while I prepare the ricotta filling.
