Ingredients
– 1 head of Romaine lettuce, chopped
– 1/2 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
– 1/2 cup sliced cucumber
– 1/4 cup red onion, thinly sliced
– 1/4 cup Kalamata olives, pitted and sliced
– 1/4 cup pepperoncini peppers, sliced
– 1/2 cup croutons
– 1/2 cup shredded Parmesan cheese
Equipment Needed
– Large mixing bowl
– Salad spinner (optional, but helpful)
– Cutting board
– Sharp knife
– Whisk or jar for dressing
Step-by-Step Instructions
To start, wash your Romaine lettuce thoroughly and chop it into bite-sized pieces. I find it really helps to use a salad spinner to remove any excess water, but if you don’t have one, just make sure to dry it well with paper towels. Place the lettuce in a large mixing bowl, where all the lovely colors will come together. Next, grab your cherry tomatoes, slice them in half, and add them to the bowl with the lettuce. The pop of bright red really gets my mouth watering! (See the next page below to continue steps…)
