- 1 bell pepper, chopped
- 1 can diced tomatoes (14.5 oz)
- 4 cups chicken broth
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tbsp olive oil

Step-by-Step Instructions
To kick things off, I start by heating up the olive oil in my large pot over medium heat. Once it’s hot, I toss in the sliced smoked sausage and let it sizzle until it’s golden brown and slightly crispy, which usually takes about 5-7 minutes. The aroma already is making my kitchen smell amazing! After the sausage is done, I add in the diced onion, bell pepper, and minced garlic.
