Pillsbury Crescent Roll Taco Bake

Ingredients

  • 1 can of Pillsbury Crescent Rolls
  • 1 pound ground beef (or turkey)
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 1 cup taco sauce
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, or your favorite blend)
  • ½ cup diced onions (optional)
  • ½ cup diced tomatoes (optional)
  • Sour cream and jalapeños for serving (optional)

Equipment Needed

  • Oven
  • Baking dish (9×13-inch works perfectly)
  • Skillet
  • Mixing spoon
  • Measuring cups and spoons

Step-by-Step Instructions

First, preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). While that’s warming up, cook your ground beef in a skillet over medium heat until it’s browned. This is where the magic begins! I usually drain any excess fat at this stage, but keep a little bit to keep the meat juicy. Once the meat is browned, sprinkle in the taco seasoning and stir to combine, adding a touch of water according to the seasoning package instructions. Now for the fun part—take that can of crescent rolls and roll out the dough! These rolls are gloriously flaky and smell amazing. (See the next page below to continue steps…)
