– 8 oz cream cheese, softened
– 1 package refrigerated crescent rolls
– ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese (optional, but oh-so-good!)

Step-by-Step Instructions

To start, the first thing I like to do is preheat my oven to 375°F (190°C) so it’s nice and hot by the time I’m ready to bake. Next, in a skillet over medium heat, I crumble and brown the breakfast sausage until it’s fully cooked. It’s amazing how fragrant the sausage gets as it cooks!
