Ingredients
– 2 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts
– 2 packets ranch seasoning mix
– 8 oz cream cheese
– 1 cup chicken broth
– 2 cups long-grain white rice
– 4 cups water
– 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
– ½ cup chopped green onions
– Salt and pepper to taste
Equipment Needed
– Slow cooker
– Mixing bowl
– Measuring cups and spoons
– Cutting board
– Sharp knife
Step-by-Step Instructions
First, start by placing your chicken breasts in the slow cooker. I like to season them with salt and pepper, but the ranch seasoning adds wonderful flavor too. On top of the chicken, sprinkle both packets of ranch seasoning for that delicious flavor punch. Next, add the cream cheese and chicken broth, making sure everything is even and well-coated. Turn the slow cooker on low and let it work its magic for about 6 hours. The aroma wafting through my kitchen at this point is simply heavenly! (See the next page below to continue steps…)
