Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- ½ cup soy sauce
- ¼ cup brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
- 1 teaspoon ginger, minced
- 1 tablespoon gochujang (Korean chili paste)
- 4 hamburger buns
- Green onions, sliced for garnish
- Sesame seeds for sprinkling

Step-by-Step Instructions
First things first, I heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Once the oil is nice and hot, I add in the chopped onion and sauté it for about three minutes until it’s softened and fragrant. Then, I toss in the minced garlic and continue cooking for another minute. It smells absolutely divine at this point! Next, I add in the ground beef, breaking it apart with my spatula, and cook until it’s browned and no longer pink. This should take about 5-7 minutes.
