Step-by-Step Instructions
To start, preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). In my kitchen, I love to get the oven heating while I prep the other ingredients. In a large mixing bowl, combine the ricotta cheese, half of the mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. This mixture is the heart of the casserole, and the smells already make me excited for dinner. Once it’s well combined, I set it aside while I layer the other ingredients in the baking dish.
