Ingredients
- 1 cup graham cracker crumbs
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 (8-ounce) package cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 (20-ounce) can crushed pineapple, drained
- 1 (8-ounce) tub of whipped topping, thawed
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
Equipment Needed
- Mixing bowls
- 9-inch pie plate or baking dish
- Electric mixer (or a whisk, if you’re feeling strong!)
- Rubber spatula
- Measuring cups and spoons
Step-by-Step Instructions
To start, grab a mixing bowl and combine the graham cracker crumbs and melted butter. I love getting my hands involved in the kitchen, so I mix it with my hands until the crumbs are well coated and resemble wet sand. Then, press this mixture firmly into the bottom of a pie plate or baking dish to form a crust. Make sure you pack it down really well so it holds together once we add the filling! At this point, the buttery aroma is simply divine. (See the next page below to continue steps…)
